Dragon Soul Progress
Behold! Our progress thus far into Dragon Soul. Most of our raiders have done 4/8 in the LFR platform and this gives them an idea of what to expect in 10man normal. As far as progress within the guild is concerned, we are hampered yet again by random real life events. Despite this we have still managed 2/8 and will be looking to get at least one new boss down each week - slow and steady FTW.

4.3 and YOU!Presenting to you good people, a motivational speech from your favourite driver of the infamous Big Pink Tank:
Welcome to patch 4.3!Wednesday morning you will wake up bright-eyed and bushy tailed with a folder of broken addons. Get some coffee and get to work updating these because it will just bug you senseless until they're perfect, amirite? I know I am, that's why I drive the Big Pink Tank. Now, onto the serious business at hand, the most important thing this patch of the expansion has given us... DRESS-UP!
Ok, so there may be other content apart from dress-up. There may be three new dungeons. There have been whispers of a new raid in which you get the chance to ride on the back of the emo dragon that has been frying up your characters for breakfast all through this expansion and then rub his face into the sand. YEAH! Take THAT! Information on the dungeons and raid can be found on the forum - links to the dungeon guides (complete with boss abilities and loot tables) and a separate thread (with videos!) about the new raid, Dragon Soul.
We have a good core of people for these new raids and I hope to see them sign up on the planner for the chance to start raiding the new content. There may even be room for some giggles with the Raid Finder - let's see how we get on.
We have been stuck in the same pattern for about two years now, where we get all but the very last boss down as the newest patch hits. I'd like to see that change with 4.3, I'd like to see us get 8/8 before the expansion darkens our doors with the giant shadows of roly poly Pandaren. I hope that the raiders amongst you are itching to see the same goal realised.
Go forth and kill shit!!!

So, after moping around for a few months after the release of 4.2, we finally decided to have a proper go at the Firelands. And aside from the odd hiccough, I would say things have been a success. We have even had the luxury of being able to rotate people in and out and I think most of our Raiders have now killed 6/7. This is all shaping up nicely for having a good team of 15 or so raiders ready for 4.3, as my Chemistry teacher used to tell me "Don't try fatten the cow the night before slaughter, you have to feed him for months before" We now have a clear pattern in our raiding, Wednesday nights have turned into a Firelands farm night, and thursday is now the mop-up/attempt at Rag night. Sundays are looking quite sparse and as a result only one Sunday in the past has been a FL night... the rest have been alt/T11 nights, with most people being quite tired and not wanting to think a lot. Mondays have been Rag attempts, but not always. So... why are you reading this? You will notice from now on, Wed and Thurs will be FL nights (Or progression nights), Sundays will be alt nights (Unless we by some miracle have a team capable of Progression, and we have bosses to kill in the top Tier). Mondays will remain top tier shizzle, if any is left and hopefully the signups will continue for these. By Alt Night, I mean doing something a little different, taking alts through old Tier shit, possibly even HC, or even through Current Tier, if we have the players. It is a night where we will most likely finish early in order for our tanks and healers to get their beauty sleep. This will give people who have been perhaps a little reticent to sign up a chance to get their raiding feet wet, get on vent, and listen to Leo singing Queen. Obviously, this may change with the usual fluctuation of raiders. Keep signing up when you can, try to keep us informed when you can't make it, or might not make it. As I have said before, with time and patience, we will have a raid team together ready to go when 4.3 hits. Incidentally, I failed Chemistry... the fat cow standing next to me was no help in the exam. Last Updated (Thursday, 02 February 2012 17:48) Two down, one to go...Bloody well done on these two. One person CAN make a difference, so please SIGN UP on the raid planner to ensure you get your chance at internet glory!
